The House
This beautifully restored Victorian Lodge set within the grounds of our 700 acre estate is the perfect place for couples, families or friends to come and stay.
The Lodge is brimming with character: the solid wooden doors and storm porch are in keeping with the building, yet the decoration is clean and fresh with a modern twist. The family sized accommodation has a stylish fitted kitchen, a lounge/dining room with a large bay window, and a cinema room with a 60" TV, plenty of bean bags, a fullsize day-bed and a pull-out truckle bed, ideal for the chldren. Upstairs there is a large master bedroom with an original fireplace, an en suite bedroom as well as a family bathroom with roll top bath and a large shower. The bedrooms have zip and link beds so can be made up as double or twin rooms.
The Lodge enjoys a large open plan garden to the front of the property with table, chairs and a BBQ (summer only) and off road parking for 2 cars.

We can provide a range of options if you want a catering service. We recommend that you liaise with the caterer of your choice directly, but we can do this for you at additional cost. All caterers can also supply their own waiting staff. Our 5 most regularly used chefs are listed below. Our two girls Sarah and Loopy, both come highly recommended and are very proficient and efficient chefs. Jamie has worked with us for many years and can offer a huge variety of different dishes. Simon and Meg are still quite new to us but guests who have used them are mightily impressed.

An excellent local chef who can be on hand at short notice to help. Sarah can cater for anything from casual dinner parties to formal meals.

LAURA “LOOPY” FOLKES
Laura is a local chef who offers private catering with all the trimmings. She is very flexible and happy to cater for groups of any size, and stays of any length. Laura can deliver ready-made and home-cooked meals and caters for a wide range of dietary requirements. She is happy to provide tailor-made menus or to work to your own menu ideas.

JAMIE YARDLEY
Jamie cooks any style to a very high standard. Of particular note is his Italian cuisine, which is very good value, and authentic too. His wife makes the most delicious Spanish omelettes/tortillas.
