Christmas has come round so quickly this year - we can't believe 2024 is almost over.  In the countryside, it is clear that the Winter Solstice is here  (21st December) and the earth has gone to ground. The earth is quietly regenerating under the stripped back landscape. Here at White Heron Estate, there is a long period of tree and blackcurrant pruning, and other clearing up tasks to be done while the land rests.    After the Solstice, the days will begin to slowly lengthen, as the land starts to wake up ready for the circle of growth to start over again.   For now, we wish you all a happy and peaceful Christmas with your loved ones.
